stats of the week: run 21km, cycled 480km, gym 1.5 hrs
It was good to feel how the body adapted to the daily cycling. From the third day on I felt fit to roll the hills. We covered a daily average of 80km and 1,000 vertical meters while we had a rest on Saturday because the wind was far too strong to stay upright on two wheels.
I doubt if it makes sense to suddenly put in so much cycling in winter but it was good fun and made us feel good. However, this kind of sports will be forgotten after returning to freezing Germany tomorrow.
